This simple set of accessories includes directions for a hat, headband, neck warmer, cowl and infinity scarf.
HAT,
HEAD BAND OR NECK WARMER
MATERIALS:
120m Chunky
yarn.
8mm double
pointed needles OR 16 in. circular OR 32+ in. circular
for Magic Loop method.
DIRECTIONS;
LOOSELY
cast on 60 stitches.*First Round: Knit across all stitches then join in the round being careful not to twist the stitches.
Work 9 rounds Purl (right side of work).
Work 9 rounds Knit
Repeat
these 18 rounds once more then work 8 rows in purl.
Cast
off LOOSELY and weave in all ends. *
NOTE
for HAT: BEFORE CASTING OFF STITCHES,
leave a 24” tail. Thread tail onto a tapestry needle and thread
through each of the stitches, going around the entire row twice.
Pull up tightly and secure end. Weave in the cast on end.
COWL
OR INFINITY SCARF
Note:
Directions below are given for Cowl (store sample) with changes for
Infinity Scarf given in (BOLD).
MATERIALS:
150m (300m)
Chunky yarn
8mm
- 24 in. to 32 in. circular needle.
DIRECTIONS;
LOOSELY
cast on 80 stitches, (160 stitches).Repeat from * to * as given for the HAT HEAD BAND, NECK WARMER pattern above.
