As the
pattern is written, the cover will fit the Original
Kobo, Kindle
Fire 1st
Gen and Kobo
Arc with only
slight modifications to it’s length (see Table 1). A separate
chart for the Kobo
mini is also
included with cast on modifications for different yarn weights (see
Table 2).
Directions:
Using
the preferred weight of yarn, cast on the appropriate number of
stitches ( DK weight yarn use 52sts, Worsted weight yarn use 46sts, Chunky weight yarn use 38 sts) and join in the round, being careful not to twist the
stitches.
Using
the chart below as a guide, (Table 1) knit in stockingette until 25mm
(1”) less than the length of your e-reader device.

loosely or use a full size larger needle. (Opening needs to be
stretchy enough to open full size to slip the e-reader into the
cover.)
Sew
in loose ends. Turn the cover inside out and seam the bottom with
your preferred method. Enjoy!
